New GVL Equine Product Release
GlobalVetLink introduces GoPass™, a new movement system which allows doctors of veterinary medicine to replace the existing paper-based official certificate of veterinary inspection (OCVI) health certificates for horses, with an electronic system. It is valid for up to six months from issuance within participating states, and facilitates the movement of transported horses. GoPass is the latest service made possible by the Internet-based animal health management system, developed by GlobalVetLink. Introduction of the service begins in June with the state of Washington, immediately followed by a host of other states as state approvals are received. GoPass allows veterinarians and diagnostic laboratories to more efficiently and accurately complete the regulatory requirements for equine movements. The GVL system also allows state animal health authorities to regulate animal movement regionally or nationally; in real-time. Accredited veterinarians may request more information or subscribe to GlobalVetLink via 515-296-3779 or www.globalvetlink.com.
